Orfeo

The finest expression of fullness from very ripen black berries aromas...

After an 18 months maturation in three wines and more burgundy barrels, this cuvee is a blend of several red grapes from the domain: merlot 60%, cabernet sauvignon 35% and négrette 5%.

With a subtle and silky attack on the mouth, this cuvee is the finest expression of fullness from very ripen black berries aromas. soft species finish with liquorice and black pepper aromas offers originality and complexity to this wine. This wine should age quite long as its nalytic characteristics already suggest. A very nice bottle to be decanted and drunk at room temperature. Light sediments at the bottom of the carafe or of the bottle are completely natural as it is a token that this wine was not filtered in order to keep its full richness.

This cuvee is a tribute to monteverdi musical and poetic work, inspired by greek mythology of Orpheus. Accross ages, this religious myth turned into a Love tale before influencing this extraordinary musical chef d oeuvre
